 Sarah Pence, a NNU student from Seattle Aurora Church of the Nazarene, has been selected to be a part of the Youth In Mission ministry this summer.
Sarah will travel to Africa during the summer to work with other students in the country of Rwanda.
Each year, the Church of the Nazarene sends a number of college and university students to minister cross-culturally in areas of North America and around the world. Sarah is one of 75 students to be selected in the denomination for this assignment.
YIM shares a threefold hope:
1) Youth in Mission will support and enhance the missionary endeavor of the Church of the Nazarene;
2) Participants will experience a deeper walk in their spiritual journey as a result of their time with YIM;
3) Other students on our district will feel compelled to be involved in service through a variety of entry points into missions as a result of witnessing the experiences of YIM students.
You are urged to support Sarah in prayer and through donations toward her ministry with YIM.
