Julio Ortiz (WaPac Hispanic Ministries Coordinator) led the Hispanic Celebration at Kent First on Friday & Saturday, August 17-18. Roberto Hodgson (International Hispanic Ministries Director for the Church of the Nazarene) was the special guest. His anointed messages reached our hearts.
On Saturday evening special appreciation and prayer were offered for each of the 12-15 Hispanic Pastors and Spouses. Gabriel Ruiz was host pastor for the two-day event which included daytime outdoor activities and barbecue – along with the evening worship services.
During the Saturday Evening Service Alejandra Guadarrama gave her testimony of God’s help during recent surgery to remove a kidney and a soon-coming lung surgery. Spouses gathered around Alejandra to anoint and pray for God’s continuing miracle of healing. Miriam Smith led the prayer but there were volumes of voices praying aloud. It was a glorious moment. What we do best is pray for each other!
