INSIDE-OUT took place on January 25 & 26 at Gold Creek Community Church. A new feature at this year’s NYI Convention was text message voting. Delegates had opportunity to cast their vote electronically, using their mobile phones. Convention organizers had extra cell phones available for any delegate that did not have their personal phone. NYI President, Trent Friberg, said the process really speeded things up. Delegates and visitors enjoyed a four-sided rock climb, a Rat-race maze, a mechanical bull, and other activities throughout the convention. Speakers Brian and Kristen Dickison (Gold Creek Youth pastor) connected with the crowd through relevant Bible teaching, personal testimony, and role-playing. Gold Creek Sr.Hi. worship band led the convention in music. Election results will be announced at the District Assembly in April.
