Stories were shared, a few tears where shed, and much laughter was heard as twenty-one former missionaries, retired missionaries, long term NIV’s and guests gathered together at Kirkland Church of the Nazarene on Thursday, January 3, 2008 for a special appreciation luncheon. Dr. Carl Birchard shared a devotion on how we don’t always know the results of the seeds that we plant. Charlie & Katie Voelker provided special music and Pastor Bob & Jo Green prepared a wonderful luncheon. What a rich missionary heritage we have on our district. - Debra Voelker, NMI President
